How to update drivers

Hi... Can someone please tell me how to update
drivers ... Is there a step by step guide ??? What is the
best way of doing so ???

Drivers for what? List brand and model number.

Hi ... I have the drivers that i need to update my
computer but i don't know how to do so ... I have try to
do it through devise manager like for instance IEEE 1394
Bus host controllers ok i would open this program and
there would be one listed i click the properties follow
by driver ... Then i would click update and it would
start up the welcome to the hardware update wizard but
once i try to find or add the driver through that way it
wouldn't work ... it wouldn't list where my driver is on
my computer ... why i don't know ... So now i am curious
how its done ??? Thanks
