how to uninstall SP2???

Hello there
Can anyone tell me how to uninstall SP2
Add remove programs tells me the file can not be found
I have not lost my
internet connection, but many programs wouldn't run properly
so I can not use my comp properly

Hi,

Set folder options to see hidden and system folders, then run the
spuninst.exe file here:

C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst

To unhide system files/folders, go to the Control Panel/Folder Options, and
on the View tab, set the options so you can see hidden and system files.
Specifically:

Enable (check) "Display the contents of system folders"
Enable (check) "Show hidden files and folders"
Disable (uncheck): "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)"

I also recommend that you disable (uncheck) "hide extensions for known file
types".

Can you not do a restore to a point before SP2 ?

DO NOT TRY TO UNINSTALL SP2 BY USIN SYSTEM RESTORE... IT
WILL NOT GET RID OF THE GIGS OF SPACE THE UPGRADE IS
TAKING UP.. I WENT THROUGH THAT AND MICROSOFT SAID THAT
RUNNING SYSTEM RESTORE WAS A MISTAKE..IT HAS TO APPEAR IN
YOUR ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS IF U HAVE IT
