How to undo marking all messages as read?

Outlook 2003 - I have an executive that inadvertently mark all the messages
in his inbox as unread. Is there any way to undo this? We sorted by
messages that have been replied or forwarded to, but he still has a ton to go
through.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Select the messages you want marked as unread and then click Edit>Mark ad
Unread.

Thanks for the reply. I know how to mark messages as unread. I was
wondering if there was a quicker way to do this, perhaps on the exchange
server. The executive said he has too many and he doesn't have time to go
through them one by one. I don't think he has any other choice, though.

Thanks for your help.

Beats me. I don't know anything about Exchange. As in an Exchange
newsgroup.

Just pick a day and mark everything from that day until now as unread. That
would take about five seconds. If he doesn't have time, it's his own
problem. Why is it executives need their hands held so much?
I don't think he has any
other choice, though.

I don't know of any.
