How to "undo" drag and drop shortcut

I did a drag and drop shortcut for the Spider Solitare game. The shortcut is on my desktop. But now the game is not availible for other users on the pc. How can I "undo" this drag and drop? (I also did the same thing with Word. Now neither show up under the programs list when you click start>programs.) I am using Windows XP Home Edition.

I cannot return them to the same place because they were in start>programs. If I have start>programs open I cannot get to the shortcuts to "drag and drop". If I click on the shortcut, I cannot open start>programs. Or rather if it can be done I do not know how to do it. I guess that is my problem.

And next time, hold Ctrl down, so that it copies the shortcut instead of
moves it.
