Desktop Shortcut Mistake

Teresa

When I was adding a shortcut to my desktop for an Excel document I accidently
dragged the original file out and now I can not access the file at all. I
get the following error message. “Excel cannot access “Bill Info.xlsâ€.
Document may be read-only or encrypted. When you click on OK it displays -
Cannot access “Bill Info.xls†again. I’ve tried taking with tech support
from Dell, but they could not help me. Can someone tell me how to undo this
problem or how to access the file?

Click on the file on the Desktop, then press Ctrl/Z. That can undo the
last action. It may be too late though.
