how to type spanish words with apostrophes

i cant type words such as arbol, since this word an aphostrophe or (acento)
in the "a".
can someone tell me how to type the acento on these kind of words
thank you!!

Ctrl+accent followed by the desired letter usually does it. So... Ctrl+'
followed by a gives you á, as in está.
