I am making a database of Spanish words. I have installed the proper Spanish
keyboard. I need to know how to type text with the appropriate accent marks,
etc.

You can set the Windows Language settings to allow this (integrated
with your keyboard); or you can use the Character Map (Start... All
Programs... Accessories... System Tools) to insert any valid
character:

áéíóúñ

Ok, I'll try that. Thank you.

I was able to use the character map to get the job done. I have hundreds of
words to enter and the map is rather time consuming. Could you help me
through the process to make it integrated?

It's a Windows setting (not an Access one):

Start... Control Panel... Regional Settings... Languages... Details...
Add

in my WindowsXP settings. I would suggest you post the question on a
Windows newsgroup for your version of the operating system (it will
apply to all Windows programs). I know you can have more than one
language keyboard setting active and toggle between them, but I'm not
certain of the details!
