how to turn on IPX with windows XP?

I need to be able to use my IPX for a game I wanna play,
but I don't know how to turn it on or whatever. Very
computer illiterate :\. I would appreciate help in
figuring out how to use my IPX. Thanks

1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network
Connections.

2. Right-Click on "Local Area Connection" and select Properties

3. Click Install, click Protocol, click Add, and then click NWLink
IPX/SPX/NetBios Compatible Transport Protocol.

4. Click OK, click Close, and then restart your computer.
