1) On Windows 95-98, right click on 'Network Neighborhood' then click 'Properties'
2) Click 'Add', select "Protocol', click 'Add' again
3) Select 'Microsoft', select 'IPX/SPX compatable protocol'
4) Click 'OK' click then 'OK' again when asked to restart your computer
You will probably be asked to insert your Win 98 CD
IPX/SPX will be added to your dialup and your Network adapters
5) Go back to properties - step 1 - and remove IPX/SPX from your dialup adapters
6) Restart your computer and your protocol will available to games

To add IPX in Windows XP:

1. Open the Network Connections folder.
2. Right click your network connection.
3. Click Properties.
3. Click Install.
4. Click Protocol.
5. Click Add.
6. Click "NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol".
7. Click OK.

Click View | Details. Your network connection is listed under "LAN or
High-Speed Internet".

You're welcome.

Right click and remove the network bridge, then install IPX on the
local area connection. Ignore the 1394 connection.

How do I do this?
There doesn't seem to be any place to install anything in the Local area
connection and if I remove the bridge don't I lose my connection to the
internet?

I only have 5 hours of dialup and have no idea how to get my ADSL back.
