HOW To Transfer Outlook 2003 Data To New PC

Hi All,

I'm building a new PC and I want to transfer all my Outlook 2003 data
from the old box to the new. I'll have two options for doing this:
back up all necessary files to CD or transfer them via network.
Therefore, which files should be transfered to the new machine and how
do I import/restore them? I know about the *.pst files. But, are
there any others; settings, accounts, etc.?

Thanks

The accounts aren't kept in a file, they're in the Registry. Best to
recreate them once everything else is transferred.

The only file you really need to transfer is the PST. You can transfer your
autocompletion cache, but it's not really a big deal if you don't. See
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm for a list of Outlook's files.

Thank you both for you response. Now I can do this thing right. Last
time I built a machine, had to start from scratch as far as Outlook
was concerned.
