How To Transfer Internet Connection?

Hi, I am trying to help a friend who now has a new Dell XPS Windows XP Home.

Previous computer was Winndows 95 with Juno dail up internet.

Want to set up that same dail up Juno account on the new computer--how do I
do that?

Can not find original Juno install disk. Do I need one or can I just set it
up through control panel, internet connections? Tried to do that and not
working.

We are new to all this, as I am sure you can tell. What are we missing?

Please help.

Thanks,

Bill

You likely don't need the Juno software. All you need is the info:

1. Phone number(s)
2. Login name
3. Password

(and of course a working modem on the new PC). You go to network
connections, make a new connection, dial up to the internet....blahblahblah.
It's pretty self-explanatory.

The only problem with that is they detect you are not using the software
& kick you off in about 1 second if they are running slow. The biggest
reason for this is the software will display ads unless you are a paying
customer in which case you still have to use the software.
