How to transfer info from PDF file to excel (lists)????????

I would like to know how to take a document and scan it into a PDF file and
then transfer the list info from that file to an excel worksheet????

If you can scan it, you probably have OCR software available, and it is
probably easier to have the OCR translate the doc into an Excel file.
Converting a pdf file to Excel is time-consuming and mistake-prone. There is
(expensive?) software out there that will read a pdf and convert it to Word
or Excel.

but you do not want to scan into PDF and then convert the PDF to Excel.
In fact that would seem like the worst way to go.

With your scanner you possibly have TextBridge on the CD and you
can use that to take a scan of certain resoutions and create an
excel spread sheet -- Excel 5, but that shouldn't matter, you can read
that with Excel.
