How to Transfer edited movie (on pc) to dvd recorder

Now that I have edited my home movies I would like to
transfer it to my home theatre DVD recorder. How do I do
this? I am using a SONY digital Hi8 camcorder NOT a DV
camcorder.

Can you connect the pc to the dvd recorder? Does the cam allow you to record
back to tape and then connect the cam to the dvd recorder?

The PC can be connected to the dvd recorder, however will
the pc transmit the proper signal?(the home movie alone
without the windows). I could also try and use the IEEE
port on the recorder to connect to the PC'c USB port.
WHat do you suggest? Do I need a TV Card?
I appreciate your advice.
