How to tell who owns Windows XP license

I was working on a friend's PC that a coworker had
previously worked on. I am suspicious that the XP Pro and
Symantec Corporate installations on this friend's PC
actually belong to the company I work for. I want to find
out for sure before I make any accusations.

Where do I look to find out who is the licensed owner of
the XP Pro operating system installation?

Belarc Advisor. After running the program, look under the section titled
"Software Licenses". Then visit your company's IT department and have
them compare the licenses to those they have a record of purchasing.
