How to tell which PST format I'm using

O

outlook

I'm using outlook 2003. How do I tell if the format of my PST file is
the new "unicode?" or the old format?

Thanks

Go into Tools > Email Accounts > View or Change > Change > More Settings >
Advanced. At the bottom of that screen, where it says Mailbox Mode, it'll
say if you're running in Unicode mode or not.

Don't think so. No such path where I live.
Instead, try File > Data File Management
Double click the PST file and look at the Format field. If it says "Personal
Folders File" it is UNICODE. If it says "Outlook 97-2002" it isn't.
