How to stop receiving "read receipts" messages

I have an issue where I keep getting notifications that an email that I sent
out months ago (and also read at that time) keeps sending me a read receipt
notifications.

How can I stop this from showing up.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Read receipts are generated on the recipient's mail system, so I suspect one
of your recipients has a problem.

Would you know where I would begin to look on the receipiants outlook. The
sender and receiver are internal.
