how to start and end music with a PPS

The subject says it all. Animation Task pane dos not give the option to start
music with slide 1 till the end of all slides. Can anybody help me?

select custom animation panel and select music object click mouse right
button
select timing... Repeat :Until End of Slide

Right-click the sound in the animation pane and choose Effects Options. In
there, put 999 in the "stop playing after" box.

When you add your sound file to your 1st slide, click on the sound symbol -
new options will then become available on the ribbon; under 'sound tools' you
will see the 'options' tab - click this and toward the left you will see
'play sound' with a drop down menu alongside it - you can here select to play
music across slides.

This is a good solution if you're using PPT 2007. If you're using a
different version, there is no such option.

Just wanted to clarify for anyone following the thread.
