how to speed up wireless printing

I've got a lan running a wired computer and printer with an additional
wireless laptop using the linksys router. It takes forever to print
something with my wireless laptop when I try. I know if I spend the money on
a wireless printer port that would solve my problem but is there another
money saving way I can do this?

Hi,
Exactly what part of the printing process takes ages
(ie. Spooling in the print queue)? Sometimes using the
printer offline can help. On the wireless laptop select
the printer in the printers folder. Then on the file menu
select 'use this printer offline'. Try printing now and
see if there is any difference. Let me know if you need
