It takes a much longer time than before for my XP to get ready for work. Can anyone so kind to advise me how to speed up such loading process? I remember that there are some websites which are very helpful. Unfortunately I forgot the exact location of such websites

Thanks in advance for your help.

It sounds like you have a lot of spyware/addware on your
PC. Do you have spyware/addware protection? If not, go
to "Spybot-www.security.kolla.de" (without the quotation
marks). You can download this for free or for a small
donation. Also, right click on IE icon,
click "properties" and delete "cookies". "files"
and "history". It will only take off the stuff the
websites attach to your PC when you visit them. It will
remove information you've given them to let you visit
them without having to fill out a form every time you go
to their website. Personally, I'd rather fill out the
form that contend with cookies! This will not take off
any of your personal files or anything else you are
working on, or effect your e-mail. It sounds like your
computer is slowing down because you have visited a lot
of websites and you have all that history and/or
spyware/addware on your pc. If you download Spybot-
Search & Destroy, be sure to read their tutorial, it's
important!
