How to solve "Windows blocked .exe file from a zip file"

Hi all,
I have Windows XP Pro. version on my pc. Now I wanted to unzip a file which
contains .exe file. But windows kept blocking me from extracting that .exe
file from that zipped file. Does anyone know how to extract .exe file from
the zip file without being blocked by windows? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

Is the file you downloaded an exe or zip file?
When extracting, there will be (extracted) exe files. These exe files do not
needed extracted!!

AFAIK, Windows won't block an extraction from a zip file. Are you sure
the blocking isn't coming from your antivirus or security software?
What is the exact text of the error message and what is the .exe you
are trying to get?

Are you saying the unblock option is missing or not available? If so then
email the file to yourself then try it again, it should work.
