how to show Navigation links?

does FrontPage2003 "Navigation view", automatically draw line segments
between linked page icons, the way "Hyperlinks view" does ? or is the user
obligated to draw line segments themselves? is it intentional that the
latter view provides a useful feature but the former deliberately requires
the user to tediously put in all the line segments by hand??? Richard, DC,
