How to show labels in word document once selected?

I am trying to print labels in Microsoft Word Document and I would like to
know if there are some settings that I need to click on or set in order for
the labels to show in the word document. At this time when I go into tools an
click labels the document is blank with no labels in view. Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated.
