How to show Dial-Up icon in system tray?

When I use Dial-Up on my old computer with Win98 it shows on the
system tray a connection icon which tell me that I am indeed connected
and lets me disconnect from there.

My new computer runs WinXP and does not show show the connection icon
when I am connected. How can I make it to display it?
Thanks,
Nathan

Got to Network Connections in the Control Panel and right click on your dial
up connection, go to properties and tick the appropriate box and voila, it
will appear right where you want it to (or it should :))

Go to Start, Connect To, and right click your connection. Select properties
and check the box labled "Show icon in notification area when conntected".

Sorry, I thought it was that way by default and figured it would be the
easiest way to get to it. :)
