Does anyone have any suggestions on how to setup a network printer?

Your best bet is to follow the instructions delivered with
the printer.
 
I prefer putting them on a 30" high table with access on at least 2 sides.

Start with a network, add a network capable printer, and follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
