I have an XP pro PC with internet connection sharing set
up on it for broadband. I have 3 network adapters poking
out the back. One for the broadband connection, one for
an
ad-hoc wireless connection to a laptop downstairs itself
XP pro with a wireless PCMCIA network adapter, and one to
serve a LAN via a hub.
I also have another laptop (Win98) and a PC (XP pro) I
used to be able to connect to that LAN via ethernet via
the hub, but since I set up the wireless ad-hoc
connection, the LAN doesn't work. The wireless adapter
has
an IP address of 192.168.0.1 and acts as the gateway for
the PCMCIA wireless adapter.
The LAN adapter used to have that address but no longer
does.
How do I configure it so that I can run both the ad-hoc
connection and the LAN for web-browsing at the same time?
What IP addresses should I use in what adapters?
Does it have anything to do with the MSHOME network name
or WORKGROUP (don't really understand these).
Thanks
