How to set up separate mailboxes with desktop icons

Running Vista Home Premium. I want to change over to Windows mail from
Eudora. I can't figure out how to create two SEPARATE mailbox accounts (not
the add...because then both of our e-mails load to the same location) for my
husband and myself.

Anyone know how to set up two separate accounts within the same desktop and
to make icons for the desktop so we can both just click on our respective
icons and go straight to our e-mail accounts?

Gosh I wish there were still heavty manuals that came with software instead
of it all being on-line and hard to find with zero free customer support!
