how to set up both static and auto ip address for differt networks

i connect at work using a wireless card to a network that
requries a static ip address but at home i use as
automatically assigned. is there an easy way to avoid
manually changing the setting when ever i switch? it there
any way to return to the static settings without entering
them each time i return from auto defined settings?
