How to set the number of characters in your post

Something I never paid any attention to at all.

How I could check the line breaks in a post before
actually sending or maybe checking to see if a link
would get truncated.

Here is what I did. After preparing the post in
O.E., I saved it; it went to "draft", and when I
opened it back up, the right margin was set, and I
could change the mistakes that made it not come out
looking very good, or having a link that some do
not know how to put into an Address bar.

So, ye thought it was stupid didja, huh? Well, get
a job.
