How to set the default folder for saving Outlook 2003 messages

I'd like to set the default folder for saving Outlook 2003 messages to...
k:\data
I saw a TechRepublic article that gave the instructions reproduced below.
The problem is that, when I right click on the Options folder, nothing
happens, i.e., I don't get the menu from which to select String Value, so I
can't insert the new string value. How can I get the menu to appear?

Here are the TechRepublic instructions:
To add your default folder specification to the registry, follow these steps:
On the taskbar, click Start | Run, type regedit in the Run dialog box, and
click OK.
In the registry editor, drill down to this subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options

Right-click on Options, choose New | String Value, type DefaultPath, and
press [Enter].
Double-click the DefaultPath icon to open the Edit String dialog box.
In the Value Data text box, enter the path to the folder you want to use as
your default for saving e-mails and attachments (Figure A).
Click OK and then close the Registry Editor.

Hi,
do you want to save your items manually?
or do you want to save all datas from outlook in that new location?
So if you want to save all datas from outlook in a new location,
you have to move your pst File to that location!

Hi, AndreasRoede. Thanks for replying.
I don't want to automatically save all my messages to... k:\data.
When I am in an Outlook 2003 message, and I click Save as.., I want the
default folder (for the message that I'm gonna save) to be "K:\data", instead
of "C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\My Documents". I have a separate
folder for each of my clients under "K:\data".

Do you have any idea what is preventing the right click menu from appearing?

Thanks,
Marc
