how to set password to open pdf file

I like to hv password or access right to open a pdf file, like a macrosoft
format file, anybody can suggest?

although this is not forum for such, however, i hope i may hv some answer

If you want to resolve this issue at an operating system level
then you would have to apply appropriate NTFS permissions
to the file.
