How to set gamma without the Catalyst Control Center

Hello,

I have an ATI Radeon 9550 for which I've installed the driver 6.2 from
http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/fr/2k/radeonx-2k.html, without the
Catalyst Control Center that I don't wants (several crash observed on
others config and need of .NET that I don't wish to install just for
this CCC).

All sound right unless one thing : how to tune the gamma without the CCC
? The display's advanced properties don't show anything about this.

Awaiting your advice

Two options:

1. Use ATi Tray Tools, which offers all the capabilities of CCC (except
Crossfire enable/disable). I find ATT less temperamental than Powerstrip,
because ATT was written specifically for ATi cards.

2. The FireMV driver is still offered with the old ATi Control Panel as an
option. Download the driver here:
http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/firemv-xp.html and run the executable.
It will first extract the driver files to a directory before starting with
the actual installation. Simply cancel after the extraction, then navigate
over to the directory, go into the CPanel folder and run Setup from there.

OK, thanks to all of you : I've adopted GammaAdjuster which has the
advantage to focus on the Gamma subject and work with all the cards.
