How to Send items in draft folder with out resend?

How do I send the drafts in the draft folder without using resend. The mail
says it was sent but why is it still in the draft folder and not in the sent
items folder? I am using a seprate program called Practice CS that does my
invoicing and creates the e-mail with a pdf attached it also saves the file
to Electronic file cabinet. Has it really been sent? if so I could just move
the files to the sent items folder.

the addin you are using is likely causing issues. does it happen if you
don't save the message to drafts before opening?

If Outlook wasn't actually running at the time your other application
tried to send e-mail then it did not get sent. Only a stub of Outlook
gets loaded to compose a new item. When the composing is done, Outlook
will exit. Since Outlook exited, it isn't running to send anything.
Items added programmatically won't send unless Outlook was fully loaded
at the time. With Outlook not running, the stub loading to accept the
new item, and then Outlook exiting, the new item waits until the next
time you start Outlook. You starting Outlook does not trigger new items
to get sent because nothing in that session of Outlook did a send of an
e-mail.

Except if Outlook wasn't loaded before the item was added
programmatically then the stub exits and Outlook isn't there to do the
send of the new item.

However, as I recall, a programmatically added item (when Outlook wasn't
running) got put in the Outbox folder, not in the Drafts folders. Looks
like your other program isn't working correctly. Have you tried to use
your other program while Outlook was already loaded?
