How to send invitation replies only to delegate?

Background:

I am running a mixture of Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2003 (in the midst of
migration to 2003). My backend is Exchange 2003.

Scenario:

A secretary ("Jim") has full access to his boss' ("Bob") mailbox. Jim
creates a meeting on Bob's calendar and invites other people. The
invitations are sent out (apparently) from Bob to the other attendees. They
reply (Accept/Decline) to Bob and the replies appear in Bob's Inbox. Jim
also receives the replies in his Inbox because the "Delegate receives copies
of meeting-related messages sent to me" box is checked in Bob's Delegates
settings. So far, so good.

The problem:

Jim would like replies to these invitations to go only to him -- not to
Bob -- to avoid cluttering up Bob's Inbox. One workaround that I have
advanced is for Jim to create the meetings on his own calendar; this has
been rejected as it would require Bob to accept the meeting. Jim is a temp
who claims that at a former assignment he was able to do this in Outlook
(probably 2003).

Any workarounds or solutions?

Go to Tools | Options | Delegates and check the box on that tab that says,
"Send meeting requests and responses only to my delegates, not to me."
