How to send an Outlook meeting invitation with macro or VBA?

I am working on a training registration database; client wants to send out
(from Access 2003) an Outlook meeting invitation with the course date, time,
and location. That way, the class can be added to the employee's calendar.

How can this goal be accomplished?
