How to send an e-mail to a person w/2 different e-mail addresses

I have Outlook 2003. I want to send an e-mail to a person at 2 different
e-mail addresses. You can put in 2 e-mail addresses on the drop-down on the
contact card, but when you send it, it only goes to the first address. I
want it to go to both.

If you enter 2 valid email addresses, the message will go to both. We can't
tell what you're doing wrong until you tell us what you are doing.

I have entered two e-mail addresses for one person in the contact card of my
address book; one in the e-mail address box and the second one in the
drop-down for e-mail address 2. But when i send an e-mail to this person, it
only goes to their first e-mail address. I shouldn't have to type their name
twice (once for each e-mail address) when I send them an e-mail, should I?

You're making me repeat myself. You have not told us how you are entering
the addresses into the To: field. When you so correctly, the message will go
to both addresses. What you are doing remains a complete mystery to those of
us who cannot read minds.

Example: To: Glenn Smith (I start typing in the name Glenn Smith and it
then auto-fills in from my Address Book - I do not type in any e-mail address
in the To: section). I would hope that since I had entered two e-mail
addresses in the contact card that it would go to both. Otherwise, what is
the purpose in having the drop-down box in the contact card to let you enter
multiple e-mail addresses for one person's name?

No wonder. Outlook is doing exactly what you told it to. What you type in
the To field has nothing whatsoever to do with your Contacts (there is no
address Book in Outlook). It simply uses your autocompletion cache--a list
of addresses to which you've sent messages before. You entered a single
address. So of course the message only went to a single address.
You can "hope" whatever you wish, but it's better to use Outlook the way it
works:
If you want to send a message to both addresses for a Contact either enter
them both or select the Contact, then Actions > New Message to Contact.
