I have photos saved in " My Pictures " folder. How do I send these as an attachment so that when the recipient opens it up, a slideshow begins? thanks for your reply.

You can use this software:
http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/Plus/PlusHome.asp
but you have to be careful with it. Internet providers have a limit on the
size of attachments you can use in e-mail. Adding a lot of photos in this
Photo story software will create a large file and the recipient may not be
able to open it. In general, 1 or 2 GB file size attachments are the limit,
but some will not let you send or receive any attachment.
Another way is to upload your photos to an internet site and then send a
message to the recipient to visit your site to see a slide show.
A free one is www.imagestation.com which is owned by Sony. You upload your
photos there and then you invite your friends to view your album.
There are many other sites, you pay a yearly fee and your upload your photos
there. You can search for such using google. Some popular ones are pbase,
smugmug, etc.
