how to search

Search is playing hard to get.
I have a file called
"travel checklist.vse"
in subdirectory house&home.
Within the file is the word "shoes".

So I click "Search" and it asks
(a) Pictures, music, or video
(b) Documents (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
(c) All files and folders
(d) Computers or people

I choose "All files and folders"

I can tell it the full path and the
filename and it cannot find it.

What is the trick?

Give the *.vsc extension an association. Say, to open by default in Notepad.
