What's really sad is the same jackass posting from:

dialup-4.225.25.234.dial1.cincinnati1.level3.net 4.225.25.234

thinks he's fooling everybody and that we don't who it is.

For those who have lost track, he's AKA (in the Vista groups):

Look Bobby boy,

<mindless rambling by a sockpuppet named Montgumdrop wherein he tried
to set down his own rules for the usenet snipped>

Let me clear this up for you Paul: I'll be posting in any thread that
I want to post in, whenever I feel like doing it.

Also, please note that you promised to stop reading my posts a week
ago. You haven't kept your promise.

It's not read -Bob_ Minus. You are of no importance to me.

You can slither back under your rock.

He can't control himself.

But THEY are "stalking" HIM... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

Read my longer reply, then look on the web site offered to see how to
also use the less than < and greater than > modifiers. That will allow
you to limit searching to date range.

But all of this is a RPITA for most users and beyond the understanding
of 99% of them. Altavista Advanced was a powerful boolean search tool
for the net and it died. Why? Because only geeks care about boolean
searches.

All most people want to be able to do is to search by file names,
extension, content, date ranges, and maybe sizes - the simple features
that were available and easily used in windows 2K.

The convoluted interface in Vista is a loser - Yet another
non-enhancement.

Ringnut you're just a old nut. Why do you even bother posting like a
nut? Old man, no one is reading your junk, but you, and a couple of
other old fools like you. You old Geritol *clowns* can chase until the
cows come home.

Oh I agree... it was easier in XP and people got use to doing searches
a certain way. What's missing in Vista is a user friendly front end to
make it easy to customize using boolean operators. Again, what you see
in Advance Search smacks of it getting rushed out the door unfinished.

So again, in concept Search is improved... if you're willing to learn
how to use it. however as usual, Microsoft dropped the ball because of
bad implementation just like they did with UAC.

That's my big gripe about Microsoft. I'll give them praise for trying,
but they never seem to do things right.

What we have here is two expert's experts, two guru's gurus, and two
Moses' Moses kissing each other.

It has nothing to do with MS in general or the *search*, because you're
both just two old experts at being *clowns* that have *sought* each
other out.

And look, you two have found each other, and you both will kiss each
other's behind from this point forward, manly like. :p

The simple fact that there are thousands and thousands of posts and
"helpful hints" on the 'net (already) regarding the difficulty of
using Vista's search feature renders your reply moot.

You need to go lay down. Just because you are *lame* doesn't mean that
everyone marches in your *lame* foot steps. You sure have a wild hair up
you behind about it. And it's to the point that you are a rabid dog
about it too.

Someone needs to *search* you out and lock you up. :p
