How to Scroll with touch pad?

I recently upgraded from Windows ME to XP Home in my HP
laptop model Pavilion N5150.

Scrolling from the edge of the touch pad no longer works;
I have to drag the vertical scoll bar.

I have looked in Control Panel under mouse & keyboard, but
have not found any mention of touch pad controls that were
in ME. Know any way to resume scrolling from the edge?
