I have Win2k with SP4 and Norton Antivirus 9.05.15.

Please note "I already run Live update in silent mode", so I don't get prompted to close after
finishing.

I have a Scheduled job in the Scheduler to run Antivirus and Scan my computer every night. However,
after it's done, it shows me the results. What I want is "to run Norton Antivirus Scan My Computer
silently.

Here is the scheduled event:
C:\PROGRA~1\NORTON~1\NAVW32.exe
/task:C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\Symantec\NORTON~2\Tasks\mycomp.sca

Is there a switch to run this silently and not even tell me when done, unless there was a virus
found?

Thanks much,

Run the program with /? instead of /tasks..... This
will show you several command line switches to use
instead of the datafile. One of them let's you run
without a report!
