How to retrieve a sent email

I have sent an email and want to retrieve it since it is not relevant
anymore. Tried opening the email and clicked on action, but can not see
'Recall'. I am using MS Office 2000 Premium's Outlook

Note that there are many reasons why recall won't work even if the command
is available.
