How to Restore User Profiles

I just reinstalled XP Pro over the old one. Now I have lost my user profile
that I used before and it has tons of information that I need (email,
programs, etc.). Is it possible to restore my old user profile? And how?

If you did not export it before reinstalling - unlikely you can restore the
entire profile.
You can - however - simply go into the old profile folder (if you did not
format over it) and copy the stufd you *really* need from it (your files,
your favorites, etc) and move on with your new profile.
