how to restore a missing default folder in outlook

I lost the notes folder in my web mail (exchange 2007). I can create a new
folder but it won't be a default folder & it won't sync with my blackberry
wirelessly. The option to move, delete & rename are greyed out in the
default folder. Does anyone know how to restore it?
 
Thank you so much for your information, but it only works with outlook 2003,
my problem is in the exchange 2007 (mail server)

Have the Exchange admin repair the mailbox.
