How to replace Domain users with local USERS

T

Tom

Is there a way to replace the security permissions of
Domain Users with Users (local built-in group) on all
folders and files in which Domain users permission exist?

Better still, if the local user group (USERS) can be
added instead of replacing Domain users to all the
existing files and folders where permission is granted to
Domain Users.

Thanks

Tom

If you want all users to have to authenticate to all machines within your
domain, maintain passwords on all machines in your domain. You could
manually do it. What you are talking about is a workgroup, unless you have
only a few machines this is a really bad idea. Again can only be done
manually or you would have to write a script.

You can try the replace option of subinacl but haven't personally tried this
combination.

What specifically are you trying to accomplish?
