How to rename an embedded XP PC

What components are needed to be able to rename a running embedded run-time
image. I already added everything I could find, but I did not succeed.

Are you asking about Microsoft XP GUI for the changing computer name? Then, "Computer Name User Interface" component is what you
need.

Much lighter way would be a small utility that will call to SetComputerNameEx kernel API.
