how to remove Word 2003 document statistics?

The file dates that are visible in Windows Explorer can be changed easily by
any number of free utilities; see
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=file+date+changer+free. The dates
embedded in the document itself, which appear in the File > Properties
dialog, are difficult to change. The utility at
http://www.attributemagic.com/ claims to be able to change them, but I have
no experience with it.
