how to remove things from startup

hi i am trying to use msconfig command but it says that
cannot find msconfig or one of its component how ican
remove some thing from startup ?
 
Go to start -> Programs -> Startup, right-click and remove
what you dont want during startup.
msconfig is for XP only I believe but there is a 3rd party
msconfig for Win2K out there. Try a search on google...
