please advise how to remive password in microsoft office 2007 - word

Elcomsoft has a good technical reputation for creating software that
recovers Office passwords. That's why I use Truecrypt to protect my
documents :)

If you don't know the password then you cannot remove it.
If you do know the password then you can remove the password once you have
opened the document. See Word Help under 'password'!

That was obviously what the asker meant, wasn't it?
I really need to work on my technical support :)

*Any* password protection can be by-passed if you have the time and the
horsepower. Word's encryption can keep Elcomsoft busy for days ... or
longer....

Was it? Word's help cover's this issue quite well, so there is no reason to
repeat the information that the user can look up for himself. If the user
doesn't know the password then - http://www.gmayor.com/Remove_Password.htm

Yeah, I've read that most random passwords over 7 chracaters are more or
less unrecoverable in any useful timeframe, since Word 97. Apparentlly
before that MS didn't use any encryption at all. Maybe they were more
innocent days?
