How to remove the defualt space when adding a Signature to an e-ma

How do you remove the space that occurs when adding a Signature to an email?

The signature itself is just a picture (business logo) and when you attach
it, it adds a default space at the top to start your message.

We want the logo to be at the top of messages and to then start the message
underneath it, is there anyway to remove the defualt space other then
manually deleting it everytime we send a new message?

I've tried 'Advanced Edit' and edited the html code to set it to the top but
the defualt space is obviously set somewhere else.

What is the exact HTML of your signature?

Does it make a difference when you select Word or Outlook as the e-mail
editor?
