How to remove reffrence.

Say if have added the sum of two cells. Now no longer the reffrence to those
cell is need but the sum is need in the third. How do i do that?
 
Hi Rahul

click on the cell containing the sum and choose copy
then edit / paste special - values
now the formula will be turned into the result and the source columns can be
deleted if no longer required.

That helped but only in case of pasting it to a new/same place. What do i do
to remove the reffrence from there itself?
